Developmental
Screening & Support

ASQ logo_edited.jpg

It's normal to have questions about your child's development.

Whether you just want to make sure your child is on track or

have a more specific concern, we are here to help!

We now have staff trained and available to offer a free screening and monitoring program.

Ages & Stages Questionnaries (ASQ)

ASQ SE-2 (ages 1 month to 6 years) checks that children's social-emotional development is on schedule and addresses any concerns as early as possible.

ASQ-3 (ages 1 month to 5.5 years old) provides a quick look at how children are doing in important areas such as communication, physical ability, social skills, and problem-solving skills - helping to identify your child's strengths as well as any areas where your child may need support.

ASQ recognizes that you are the best source of information about your child and helps you make sure your child is off to the best possible start!

Hand-in-Hand
Developmental Support Plan (HIH)

Hand-in-Hand was developed by Infant Mental Health Promotion (IMHP) to provide resources for caregivers to use to support social and emotional development during the early years, through the creation of a plan that is unique to each child and family. This screening and interim service enhancement program aims to provide caregivers with concrete strategies to support development where a risk for developmental delay has been identified.

Working one-on-one with parents, our trained staff will provide activities and tips in response to developmental concerns when children may benefit from additional support, or for those who may be waiting for additional assessment or more targeted interventions.

Staff training and support provided by the Department of Education

in conjunction with Infant and Early Mental Healthy Promotion.
